St. David’s Cathedral Bicentennial 2017

The Bicentenary of the Laying of the Foundation Stone of St. David’s Anglican Cathedral is taking place in 2017. To help celebrate a major music event has been organised for Saturday 25th March 2017. The event entitled ‘Sanctuary’ will comprise three concerts, the first two being rock/blues with a gospel message and a community choirs concert also featuring songs of a ‘sacred nature’. These two concerts will be held in the Cathedral Close. A third concert is being held in the Cathedral itself at 8:00pm and is a ticketed event.
Sing Australia choirs Hobart, Kingston and Sorell have been invited to participate in the Community Choirs Concert at this prestigious and well-organised event.
