Official opening of the new Toilet Block on the foreshore of Sandringham Beach

Funnily enough this is a big event.
The local cafe owner has been campaigning for a toilet and shower facility to be erected since 1984!
He has wanted this not only to be there for his customers, but also for the patrons of the surf school and for use by the schoolchildren who are sent as part of their studies to learn Watersports.
Finally it has happened and we will be there to sing.
A well known local character, who was also the mayor not so long ago, will be doing the official opening and the 2 local newspapers will be there to report on it.
The audience will consist of many locals and their dogs, as it a well frequented cafe and loved dog beach.
