Australian Surf Rowing League (ASRL) Open & SLSA Trans Tasman Competition

This event will have approximately 1500 people at Lorne Surf Beach for Surf Rowing Competitions including an Australian and New Zealand open competition.
Sing Australia Geelong has been asked to sing the New Zealand National Anthem (Maori & Enlish) and the Australian National Anthem (two verses) in the official ceremony. Chairs will be provided for the official ceremony. This event is held on the surf beach.
Perceived risks – uneven surface for walking (on sand), heatstroke. Precautions will be – all members encouraged to drink plenty of water, to wear hats/sunscreen and to take care when walking.
