Blackwood’s Got Talent

Singing as part of the program of a cabaret style event to showcase and celebrate local talent staged by the Blackwood Action Group. We have been invited to perform a 15 to 20 minute bracket of high energy songs which we have chosen from Songs Around the Piano 1. Colleen and Bernie will be local faces, with Bernie conducting. We intend to give out loan books and encourage the paying audience to sing along with us. The event is being held in the new Blackwood Library and community centre known as Tiwi Kumangka. With only 1 songbook to be taken to our singing location, a professional set up for the show, and the likelihood that we will be in front of the small stage, we do not foresee any risks. This is a fantastic opportunity for exposure to a broad audience.
