Annual Charity Concert 2023

The Gordon group will be holding their annual Charity Concert on Friday November 10th, 2023, starting at 8pm. The concert will be held in the Gordon East Public School Hall, our regular Friday night location. Funds will be raised this year for StreetWork, a local charity that provides mentorship programs for teenagers who struggle with mental health (often suicidal thoughts and self-harm), alcohol and substance misuse, social isolation, school or work disengagement, youth crime and at risk of youth homelessness.
Members will perform on stage, which has easy access and ample space to both stand and sit in safety. The conductor will perform from ground level on a slightly raised platform, only 8 inches high and 1 metre square with safety rail behind. There are no other safety issues perceived.
Refreshments will be served afterwards. Full uniform will be required.
