Bay and Basin Cancer Support Group Morning Tea
Sing Australia Vincentia have been invited to sing at the fundraising Morning Tea of the Bay and Basin Cancer Support group. This is to be held at The Country Club St Georges Basin in the Front Bar on the stage . We will sing to recorded music a set of 12 uplifting songs to acknowledge the life experiences of the group members. Singing at the ANZAC Day Dawn service at Point Danger in Torquay. Small risk of walking through park area in the dark, however members all bring torches and take care to lessen the risk. Assistance given to those who need it to climb the steps onto stage. After the dawn service, the choir will be taken by bus to the Torquay Bowling Club where we will be singing at the breakfast for servicemen and women.

Sing Australia Gordon have been invited once again to lead the singing at The Anzac Day Dawn Service at Roseville Memorial Park this year. The service starts promptly at 5:00am. The usual three songs will be in the service program: Abide With Me (verses 1, 2, 4 and 5), Amazing Grace (verses 1, 2, 3 and 6) and the Australian National Anthem (Advance Australia Fair – both verses 1 and 2). We will be singing at the Combined RSL ANZAC Dawn Service. It will be dark when we start and there is a trip hazzard from the Morton Bay fig trees that grow around the perimeter of the park. This will be explained to the singrs and they will be advised to use a torch when arriving. The stage area is separate from where we sing so there shoud not be a trip harard from the equipment leads. Sing Australia Port Pirie have been asked to lead the community singing for both the Dawn Service and the Civic Ceremony April 25th 2024. The songs include Abide With Me, Song of Australia, the National Anthem, God of Our Fathers, Known of Old. We have sung at this location before and I perceive there to be little risk as any cords are professionally covered and we are away from any traffic from the procession.

This is an outdoor public event. The memorial service is organised by the Soldiers, Sailors & Airmen's Club (SS&A), 570-582 Olive Street, Albury, NSW, 2640 annually, held near the water fountain in the carpark of the Club. Catafalque party are in attendance from one of the defence groups. Chairs are provided for us. It is level ground.
