Sorrento/Duncraig

David Buttfield is one of our regular gigs and they always look forward to us coming. We sing for one hour and are then provided with a lovely afternoon tea.

The Lions Club of Whitfords Community Fair is a major community event drawing from many groups within the community. A stage is set up where groups perform but the sound is broadcast throughout the grounds. This is a great opportunity for us to celebrate Sing Australia Day.

Sorrento/Duncraig are honoured to sing at the North Beach RSL ANZAC Day Dawn Service. This Service is always very well attended and growing each year. Our Group sings before the Service and then leads the singing in the Service.

Soroptimist International love us to come and sing once a year to them. They supply care and support for the residents at Jacaranda Lodge in Wanneroo. We sing a variety of songs and are always encouraged by the way residents join in. We also receive a lovely afternoon tea after we have sung.

We are being asked yearly to sing at John Bryant and the Group love to sing there as many of the residents join in when we are singing. Some of the residents are known to members of our Group and this makes it more special when we are able to sing for friends. We sing...

This is an opportunity for our group to entertain and promote ourselves to  the local community. Many different groups in the community take part at the fair with stalls and other activities.

We are meeting at Charles Riley Reserve, Kitchener Road, North Beach, arrival time 5.30am 6.am start. We will be singing songs from world war 1 and 2.

we have been invited to Jacaranda Lodge age care facility, our group has been to this facility on several occasions and our singing has been enjoyed by the residents. We will be meeting at 1.45

We have a gig at the age care home of Jacaranda Lodge, 55 Belgrade Road Wanneroo, Sunday 25th of August at 2.00pm. We will be meeting at 1.45pm. Song books have not been finalised.

Sorrento/ Duncraig group have been invited to sing at this appeal , we have 15 members who will be singing.

Participation in Dawn Service to provide mandatory songs, Abide with Me, NZ & Australian National Anthems. Two songs provided prior to ceremony to entertain audience before dawn.
