Singing at a market at this historic home in Black Rock. The house will be open for tours and the market will be in the grounds. We will be there in full voice enjoying the day
An hour of singing for the elderly
This toilet block has been a long time coming. The local cafe operator has been campaigning since the mid 80's to have a toilet block in this area. It will be an official event with ex councillors, present councillors, the local member of Parliament (who is stalking us since seeing us at a local event!)...
Today we will be singing at an aged care facility
Funnily enough this is a big event. The local cafe owner has been campaigning for a toilet and shower facility to be erected since 1984! He has wanted this not only to be there for his customers, but also for the patrons of the surf school and for use by the schoolchildren who are sent...
This event is part of a month long celebration of Seniors Month. Participants are picked up from their homes and other facilities to enjoy company and activities with others. We have been told they love singing so are really looking forward to singing along with them.
